Woman, 35, dead after being struck by truck in Etobicoke, police say

Toronto police are investigating after human remains were found behind a business in north Etobicoke late Tuesday morning.

Police say they were called to the Rexdale neighbourhood, near Rexdale Boulevard and Kipling Avenue, just before 11 a.m. for reports of a sudden death.

“At this time we don’t know the cause of death and cannot provide any further detail at this time until an autopsy is done,” a media officer told CTV News Toronto.

Police officers as well as members of the Forensic Identification Servicew ere seen on Tuesday afternoon near a tent in a wooded area behind a car dealership at 109 Rexdale Blvd. What looks to be a homeless encampment there is surrounded by police tape.
