Toronto police have charged a caregiver who allegedly assaulted vulnerable adults at a group home in East York for a month-long period last year.
Police said they first responded to reports of assault on the morning of Dec. 10, in the area of Sibley and Dentonia Park avenues.
The accused allegedly committed a “series of assaults” between Nov. 1 and 30, 2025, against residents.
Investigators did not say how many victims there were or what kind of physical injuries, if any, they sustained.
In a news release issued Monday, police say they arrested 38-year-old Oghenemaro Dave Ejerua, of Toronto, and charged him with seven counts of assault.
The charges have not been tested in court.
