One man is under arrest, while another is at-large, after a driver allegedly fled a traffic stop and crashed into four other vehicles in Toronto’s King West area.
Toronto police said on Sept. 21 at about 1:45 a.m. they pulled over a vehicle near King Street West and Portland Street.
The driver of that vehicle then allegedly fled and collided with four other vehicles, before running away with the vehicle’s passenger.
Hanad Aden, 33, of Toronto, is facing numerous firearm and drug-related charges. He appeared in bail court on Sept. 21.
Police have since identified the passenger of the vehicle as 31-year-old Suleyman Mohaidin, of Kitchener.
He is wanted for possess firearm without holding a license, careless storage of firearm, weapon or prohibited device, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon knowing its possession is unauthorized possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, possession of a firearm knowing serial number has been tampered with, possession of counterfeit money, and possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Anyone who locates him is asked to not approach him and instead call 9-1-1 immediately.
“(Mohaidin) is to be considered armed and dangerous,” Toronto police said in a news release.
